My “aha” moment when everything changed

They didn’t listen anymore when I told them—again—about my idea.

“We’ve been hearing about your idea for three years now. When are you going to do something about it?”

“This time, it’s different…”

“Heard that before.”

Barely audible, “I know how to start.”

They nodded, disinterested.

And then it clicked. THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT.

“I know now how to start.”

That got their attention.

And then they saw it… the certainty in my eyes. I wasn’t just talking anymore. I knew.

So, I told them.

“You know how I have all these great book ideas but never actually start writing?”

They all nodded.

“I kept asking myself why. This matters to me. I can make time for things I want to do, so why not this?

Then I realized: It wasn’t laziness. It wasn’t a lack of ideas.

I didn’t know how to start. And even if I did, writing a book isn’t an overnight project, and I can’t set aside huge blocks of time.

Then it hit me: I DON’T have to spend hours a day. What if I broke it down into small, bite-sized tasks—things I can do in 10 minutes, even 5 minutes? What if I built my book blueprint one step at a time?

And if I have a blueprint, I can write my book in just minutes a day.”

That changed everything.

I sat down, grabbed a pen and paper, and asked myself: What’s the first thing I need to do to write a book?

Easy, I need an idea.

So, I set a timer for 5 minutes and wrote it down.

And just like that, I had started.

“Tomorrow, I’ll take the next step.

If you’re nodding along because this sounds like you…or just curious about what happened next—take a look.”
